Programmes

A range of specially designed programmes is available to help change the pattern of behaviour which leads individuals into offending.  The programmes seek to promote and reinforce socially responsible attitudes.  The emphasis is on teaching offenders to think about the potential consequences of their actions in the future.  This means giving them the necessary skills to be able to make decisions that will divert them away from the temptation to commit a crime.  Offenders may attend a programme as a Requirement of a Community Order.

Programmes are accredited by the Home Office and follow a national core curriculum.
