More than 50% of our 350 staff work directly with offenders.
This includes:

  • probation officers - working directly with offenders
  • probation service officers - assisting the work of probation officers
  • Case Administrators - providing administrative support to probation staff
  • hostel staff - supervising offenders residing in bail/probation hostels
  • prison-based probation staff - working to prepare prisoners for their release into the community.

Other staff work in supporting roles such as human resources, training, research, information technology, admin and clerical, finance and management.
