West Mercia Probation Trust

We work with people who have committed different types of offences such as burglary, violence, car crime and sex offences.

We provide probation supervision, offending behaviour programmes and specialist support services which can stop people committing further offences.
What's new

Preferred Partner Agreement Signed

West Mercia Probation Trust has appointed Youth Support Services (YSS) as its preferred partner. YSS, a well established local charity, works to combat social exclusion. Their new role will be to work with probation to commission services from other local third sector providers. They will also develop the capability and capacity of local voluntary organisations to create innovative solutions to working with offenders.

Working with Communities

West Mercia Probation Trust has a distinctive approach to the management of offenders. It is positioned as the leader and manager of offender management services in the area but it recognises that not everything that needs to be done with offenders needs to be done directly by probation. In fact many of the things that need to be done with offenders are best done within their community. This short film demonstrates West Mercia’s approach.
